Thanks to its central and at the same time tranquil location right in the heart of Lech, ski lifts and hiking trails, restaurants and shops are only a stone’s throw away. As a classic bed & breakfast, we prepare a rich breakfast buffet for our guests every day with sustainably produced delicacies from our region and first-class coffee. Caroline is extremely welcoming and the staff are exceptional, we were well looked after and no request was too much trouble. The hotel and room are very clean and cosy – the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in! We also had a private balcony with beautiful mountain views. The facilities are excellent (I can highly recommend the Finnish sauna after a long day mountain biking) and the location makes getting anywhere in Lech super easy, the restaurants / bars and gondolas / walks. We also hired e-bikes from Intersport (two mins away) and had a great day exploring the area. The breakfast included a made to order cooked choice and a buffet, it was delicious and the staff were only too happy to accommodate requests. We will definitely be back – thank you very much!
We were here 2 years ago, with the family: my brother and his kids and then us, family of 2. All I can say is that this B&B is so special. We love the family and it runs like clockwork. Perfect location, up to the minute advise, great restaurant recommendations from Caroline, and there really isn’t anything to ever complain about. Lech for us wouldn’t be the same with Bernadette, Caroline and family. How we adore staying here.
Thoroughly enjoyed my solo visit. I was made to feel most welcome and greatly enjoyed the varied and nutritious breakfasts. I also received some great tips for the day’s skiing ahead. The room was nice, warm and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower after a day in the mountains. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful family run hotel.
I can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very clean, bright and nicely furnished. Rooms are also very generous, as there is enough space available. The location of the hotel also not be better (directly in the center of Lech). Caro, who is managing the hotel together with her mother, is a true angel. She takes care of every guest personally and is more than happy to help you out should need any tips, restaurant reservations etc. We stay already for 4 years in a row in hotel Lavendel. We have returned to Hotel Garni Lavendel year after year because of its charming character and stays that have left us feeling relaxed, content and looking forward to the next time! This is a special place, where Caroline and the rest of the family and staff take extraordinary care of the wellbeing of their guests. The lovely breakfast with freshly baked bread rolls is always a perfect start to a day on the mountain. The rooms are beautifully decorated and always very clean and comfortable. The location is amazing when you travel with kids – close to the lifts so that even the smaller snowboarders and skiers are able to carry their skis to the lift. Highly recommended!
Caroline , her family and staff do an incredible job of making one welcome. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable and a great breakfast is offered. In what can be an expensive town , I strongly recommend Hotel Garni Lavendel, it’s great value and very friendly with it.
